OpsNow enters the installed cloud management market... AI-based hybrid CMP 'OpsNow Prime' launched in the first half of the year

  • Korea's leading CMP company OpsNow announces expansion to the installed management market... AI-based hybrid CMP 'OpsNow Prime' will be launched
  • Supporting integrated management of on-premise and public clouds... optimizing IT operations with AI-based automation

OpsNow, a company specializing in AI-based multi-cloud management platforms (OpsNow, https://opsnow.com) announced that it will officially launch an artificial intelligence (AI) -based hybrid cloud management platform (Cloud Management Platform, CMP) “OpsNow Prime (OpsNow Prime)” in the first half of this year. As a result of this, OpsNow plans to lead the next-generation CMP market, which integrates management of public cloud and on-premise environments, and further speed up its reach into the global market.

OpsNow Prime is designed to integrate public and private cloud and on-premise environments on a single platform. Different infrastructures that had to be operated separately can be efficiently managed in a single system, and the use of cloud resources can be clearly controlled through centralized security policies and systematic approval procedures.

It also provides an AI-based cost optimization function to analyze resource usage in real time, and automatically track costs in cloud and on-premise environments to suggest optimal operation plans. RunBook and PlayBook automation features validated in the SaaS version are also included in OpsNow Prime. When problems occur, pre-defined procedures are executed to respond quickly, and repetitive tasks are automated to improve operational consistency and efficiency. It improves operational efficiency and stability by implementing public cloud-level automation even in internal data center environments. An automatic alert is generated when abnormal signs occur through the real-time fault detection function, and when linked to OpsNow's cloud incident management solution “AlertNow (AlertNow)”, you can respond immediately.

It is also characterized by being built on PaaS (Platform as a Service) and organically linked to existing ITSM (IT Service Management, IT Service Management), monitoring tools, and CI/CD pipelines. It also provides GPU resource monitoring and management functions, so you can check GPU usage status in real time and use one GPU by dividing it into multiple independent work units. By analyzing GPU usage patterns, resources can be allocated and additional allocation/recovery is possible, and the GPU usage billing function is planned to be supported by the second half of this year. As a result, the introduction of OpsNow Prime can be expected to have effects such as ▲ 20% reduction in operating costs, 30% improvement in work efficiency, and 30% increase in service stability compared to the previous one.

Since introducing the first SaaS-type CMP in Korea, OpsNow has been leading the cloud management field by supporting approximately 3,000 global customers. Recently, it was the only domestic company to obtain the status of the PINOPS Foundation's 'PINOPS certification platform' and was recognized for its technical prowess. Now, we plan to quickly secure global competitiveness in the installation-type CMP market centered around OpsNow Prime. Ahead of launch in the first half of the year, OpsNow Prime is currently undergoing PoC (concept verification) for various customers in the enterprise and financial sector.

Park Seung-woo, CEO of OpsNow, said, “OpsNow Prime not only integrates on-premise and cloud management, but also has the same AI-based automation features as the existing SaaS version. It is a core solution that not only reduces operating costs for customers, but also establishes a more stable and efficient IT operating environment,” and emphasized that “OpsNow Prime, which provides a differentiated operating experience based on AI and automation, will be used as a foothold to further strengthen OpsNow's position in the global market.”
